Here's what I know...

bare GSX-R50

The Suzuki GSX-R50 is quite a rare bike. It's also known as the Suzuki RB50 and affectionately called GAG in Japan. I think it was first produced back in 1986 and discontinued after 1987. Production numbers are unkown to me but I believe that they were fairly limited compared to it's competition at that time, the Yamaha YSR50 and Honda NSR50. It's main difference from the competition is that it was powered by a 4-stroke 50cc engine. Though the competition could beat it in most performance aspects, it is easy to ride and maintain which gives it the appeal to it's owners. Several manufacturers did produce go-fast products for this bike. Sadly though, most of these parts are no longer in production. Current owners have to get by with custom-made parts or adapting parts from other bikes. It is not uncommon to see owners swapping-in parts from the NSRs and YSRs.
